Is Taipei easy to get around?
Very. The MRT metro is clean, cheap, and signed in English, and an EasyCard covers trains, buses, and even some shops. Most sights are a short ride apart.
How many days do I need?
Three to four covers the city, the night markets, the hot springs, and a day trip to Jiufen or the north coast.
When is the best time to visit?
Autumn through spring for cooler, drier weather. Summer is hot, humid, and prone to typhoons.
