Splitting costs

Who paid for what, settled without a spreadsheet

The awkward part of a group trip is the money after it: a dinner one person covered, a rental car another did, and nobody sure who owes whom. Ollin keeps the costs on the trip itself, next to the plan they belong to, and works out the settling up.

Plan it free — no account needed

Log it once, split it fairly

Add an expense, say who paid, and split it evenly or by share among whoever was in on it. Everyone on the trip sees the running balances under their own name.

  • Log what each person paid
  • Split evenly or by share
  • Balances visible to everyone on the trip

See who owes whom, then settle up

Ollin shows who owes whom across the whole trip, so you settle once at the end instead of after every meal. An optional budget keeps the total in view while you are still spending.

  • Who owes whom across the whole trip
  • Settle up in one step at the end
  • An optional budget for the whole trip

Questions

Is expense splitting free?

Yes. Logging expenses, splitting them and settling up are free, alongside the shared plan, voting and the trip chat, for up to 15 travelers on a trip.

Do I need a separate app to split costs?

No. The costs live on the trip beside the plan, so there is no second app to keep in sync with the itinerary.

Can I export the numbers?

Yes, on Pro: expense insights include breakdowns, multi-currency and a CSV export.
